Some of the major health risks or consequences of childhood obesity revealed through research were high blood pressure, joint pains, high level of cholesterol, heart problems, and decrease in stamina. On the other hand, some of the major psychological problems found in obese children were lack of self-confidence and low self-esteem. Some of the main ways using which parents can help their obese children include making children do physical exercises, stopping children from taking sugary drinks, providing balanced diet to the children instead of junk foods, and making children adhere to the principles of good body
